The Sennheiser EW IEM G4 Wireless In-Ear Monitoring System is a UHF wireless monitoring system designed for use in live performance and audio production environments. It operates within the A1 frequency band and supports up to 42 MHz switching bandwidth with 1,680 selectable frequencies. The system includes a stereo transmitter, bodypack receiver, IE4 in-ear headphones, and rackmount hardware.
The bodypack receiver provides stereo and focus monitoring modes, along with adjustable balance, limiter, and Hi Boost functions. The system supports selectable RF output power levels of 10, 30, or 50 mW, depending on regional regulations. Infrared synchronization allows quick frequency setup between transmitter and receiver.
The system features adaptive diversity reception and HDX companding. The receiver operates for up to approximately 8 hours using compatible batteries. The transmitter includes balanced audio connections for integration with mixers and monitor send outputs.
