The Ortofon SH-4 is a DJ headshell designed for use with turntables featuring standard SME-type headshell mounts. It provides mounting support and electrical connection between the tonearm and a compatible phono cartridge. The headshell includes color-coded cartridge lead wires and gold-plated wire terminals for cartridge connection.
The SH-4 features an integrated finger lift for handling and positioning on the tonearm. It connects to the tonearm using the standard headshell locking collar mechanism and supports installation of compatible phono cartridges using standard mounting hardware.
