Bose SoundSport Wireless Review

If you are into sports of any kind and love listening to music while doing that, than the Bose SoundSport wireless earbuds are the perfect fit for you. When Apple removed the headphone jack out of the iPhones, no one stoped buying the phones but they did start buying more wireless headphones and earbuds instead. For the people who are obsessed with having the best of the best when it comes to the sound quality won’t find the AirPods first generation a good fit for them.

PROS:

  • Very comfortable
  • Bluetooth connectivity
  • Works with Siri and Google Now
  • Sweat-resistant
  • Sounds great

CONS:

  • Battery life tops out at 6 hours
  • App doesn’t add much value
  • Remote box drags cable around your neck to the right
  • High price

Build & Comfort:

Bose SoundSport Wireless earbuds are on the more traditional side, they are designed with a neckband cable with a remote housing part way down rather than it being completely untethered. They do have a cool design, the remote doesn’t weigh at all so there is nothing to tug and drag the cable down. They are very comfortable to wear, they are made out of soft silicone rubber hooks that trace the lines of the ear. This gives the users the ultimate tight and secure fit without loosing them or them constantly falling out when running or jogging. If you aren’t the sporty type , the hooks are still very important. The remote might be small but the general earbud is not, this is due to the larger battery pack and DAC live needed in any wireless pair of earbuds. But still the battery pack isn’t that large so the battery life lasts to about six hours, but this has been found more than enough for the average time a person works out. The earbuds are most importantly sweat resistant, they on the other hand can’t be submerged under water but will handle splashes better than any normal earbuds. They don’t come with a cable socket for charging so they aren’t the perfect fit for longer flights or trips. NFC is a cool feature that they have. If you own an Android device that has NFC you can connect the earbuds with just simply tapping the phone to the earbud and they automatically connect. The Bluetooth performance is solid, they can take on trains, crowded offices full of mobile phones without the wireless integrity falling.

Sound Quality of Bose SoundSport Wireless

These earbuds have a powerful punchy bass to them that might boost up your adrenaline. The bass isn’t sloppy so it won’t ruin any of the rhythmic impact of a track. If you are in a dead silent room they might come off a little bit aggressive, but yet again that’s not what they are designed for. The earbuds are dynamic and make the music come more to life. Even though you can get better tonal fidelity in the bass from other non-wireless earphones, the Bose SoundSport earbuds don’t come of badly when you compare they to others. Even though they don’t have stellar insight like other earphones, they still are amongst the best sounding wireless earbuds. And they don’t have any glaring flaws like extreme harshness, they have good detailing and have solid dynamics that make the sound lively.

VERDICT :

The Bose SoundSport wireless are exactly the same as the SoundSport Pulse but of course without the heart-rate tracking, other than that they are the same. They are very comfortable to wear , sound amazing, and all in all they don’t come with many flaws. So I highly would recommend them.
