Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Review
If you are in the market for brand new noise canceling headphones that you can fully use as a voice control headset, the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 are the perfect match for you. These headphones offer an amazing new experience with a simple, sleek and elegant stainless-steel look and a matching protective case to store them in. This headset is adored amongst many travelers and office workers because they are also wildly used for making calls whilst reducing most of the background noise due to brand new dividers and 8 microphones that have evolved Bose’s noise canceling technology.
- Slick, attractive design
- Excellent noise cancelling on calls and music
- Precise, balanced audio
- Intuitive buttons and touch controls
These headphones have such an elegant look to them with their headband made entirely out of stainless steel which make the look so much sturdier than other headphones. Because of the steel they way half an ounce more that some of its other competitors, and for the people with a slight bigger head can cause the ever so slightest bit of pressure. On the inside they are made of a rubber like material which don’t absorb any sweat or water unlike most headphones that are covered with cloth, this means that you don’t have to worry about washing or rinsing them off after using them. The ear cups are air filled rather than having a foam filling like most of the headphones on the market right now. The Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 come with a protective case because they aren’t foldable due to the steel head band which some have found not very handy but on others love the protective case because it’s easy to store them and with the case you are less likely to scratch and damage them. The case magnetically closes and has a compartment for storing the USB-C charging cable and another cable for wired usage. The headphones port is smaller by 2.5 mm so they have a 2.5mm to 3,5 mm cable.
Communication and usage
Most headphones are used for listening to music while working out, travelling or just for relaxation, but Bose has taken the headphone game to a next level by making these wireless Bluetooth headphones into an advanced headset for making calls so much easier and better. They are evolving and boosting the voice communication and sound quality. The built-in beam foaming microphones in the headset are specifically designed and added to pick up your voice so much better and clearer, and are made to cancel out any surrounding noises so the person at the other end can hear you perfectly in a rather busy environment the same applies for the control of the voice assistants. These headphones support Amazons “Alexa “, Apples “Siri “and Google Assistant. You can activate your virtual assistant with just a push of a button or with the command “ALEXA” and these headphones are on the unique side because they have an always-on ALEXA like the Air Pods and Beats headphones have an always-on SIRI. Some New York users have confirmed that they have successfully made calls from the streets of NYC which is one of the busiest cities in the world and that they have said they do cancel more and most of the background noise but of course not all of it but the built-in computer chips do an amazing job of filtering the noises. The Bose headphones also include a rare feature, which is an adjustable sidetone bar that allows you to hear yourself talk if needed so you don’t talk so loudly when you are in a crowded or noisy surrounding. Bose’s music companion app also supports IOS and Android.
Battery life of Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 Review
With most wireless headphones the battery life lasts for quite a while and in most weather conditions. But with Bluetooth headsets and especially with Bose’s built in always-on Alexa the battery life lasts roughly about 20h a bit less than other headphones, but on the bright side they have a quick charge feature where with a 15min charge you get 3.5h of battery life. Some reps say that whether you have your Bluetooth on or off that’s the standard life spam of the battery, even if you’ve drained your battery, you can still use them pluggedin, but it might have a slight change in the sound quality (the bass isn’t as strong)
New feature to Bose?
This headphone set is the first amongst many other Bose products that have touch control which you can find od the right-side ear cup with this you can customize your settings control and through the Bose music app you can adjust the toggle between high, low and zero noise canceling level which basically means you can control how much of surrounding noises you want to let through. And as most touch control panels have trouble working in cold weather the Bose Noise Cancelling Headphones 700 have no issue with that.
