Design and size of Soundcore Motion+

You’re presented with a simple and elegant Bluetooth speaker. Its style is similar to that of an Ultimate Ears speaker, without the extra bells and whistles. The Soundcore is available in a range of colors, so you can find a speaker that matches your style. We particularly like the black version. Unfortunately, other than a few color options, there’s not much to wow you about the Soundcore Motion+ from a design perspective.

However, that’s not necessarily a bad thing. A minimalist design like this means your speaker will fit perfectly into any room or office. Plus, since the product is surprisingly compact, you can be sure it won’t take up too much space on your counter. Soundcore Motion+ it’s even light enough that you can grab and carry it with one hand.

The more we looked at Anker’s Soundcore Motion+, the more we liked it. It has a simple black grille; you can see part of the inner workings of the speaker, which is exciting for anyone who loves technology.

Additionally, the design is slightly upward, which Anker says improves sound quality. The control buttons are on the speaker’s top and consist of the volume keys (which can also be used as rewind and fast forward buttons), a Bluetooth pairing button, and an option bass boost.

Anker Soundcore Motion+ review: Features

Anker Soundcore Motion+ is an ideal Bluetooth speaker for anyone looking for big sound at an affordable price. The Anker Soundcore Motion+ may seem simple at first glance, but this device has a lot more to offer than you think. High-Resolution Audio components ensure great sound at any volume, while Qualcomm AptX technology boosts Bluetooth performance.

The battery life of this Anker Soundcore product is also very impressive. The lithium battery can last up to 12 hours, which is far more than you’ll get with many leading products on today’s market.

The most interesting feature, in our opinion, is the fact that this Anker Bluetooth speaker is IPX7 waterproof. Simply put, this means you can drop your speaker into a basin of water, and it will still be fine. Of course, you shouldn’t submerge it in more than a meter of water, but it should survive shower signs and pool parties with no problem.

The Anker Soundcore Motion+ has the following features:

  • Three color options
  • Hi-Res Audio Certification
  • Technologie Qualcomm AptX
  • Active filter
  • Technologie Bass Up TM
  • 12-hour battery life
  • Wireless stereo pairing
  • Customizable EQ with a downloadable app
  • IPX7 waterproof rating
  • Pairs with various devices
  • USB-C connectivity

Along with giving you a durable and capable Bluetooth speaker, the Anker also delivers amazing results in Bluetooth connectivity.

This Anker Bluetooth speaker is also compatible with Bluetooth 5.0, which means you get faster and stronger connectivity. In addition, as is the case with many Anker products, you also get support for the built-in Soundcore app. Through this smartphone app, you can tune various components of your sound experience, choosing between freebies and unique adjustments.

You can set sleep timers and turn off your speaker using the app.

As for charging, you can only use USB-C connectivity; there’s no wireless charging technology here – but we don’t think that’s too big of a deal.

In terms of performance, the Soundcore Motion+ is a beast. It offers tons of volume compared to other products in the line, like the SoundCore Mini, and the 15-degree angle of the speaker allows music to flow throughout the room. So if you’re looking for the most powerful Bluetooth speaker around without venturing into boombox territory, this might be the one.

The Anker Soundcore packs a surprisingly big punch for its price and size. You can hear every finer detail in your tracks, thanks to powerful highs and mids.

The lowest and deepest sounds are also incredible, thanks to the BassUp technology included in the Motion+. So while you won’t get as powerful a bass range as a JBL Boombox, you’ll get an amazing experience for a minimal price.

What’s impressive about the Anker Soudncore is that the codec built into it makes you feel like you’re not using Bluetooth at all. Plus, if you have any issues with music quality, the easy-to-use app lets you quickly rectify those issues.

Sound Test

The Anker Soundcore Motion has a lot of power in a relatively small product. Finally, you are getting a high-quality Bluetooth speaker that’s not only waterproof but also capable of delivering incredible volume is pretty impressive. The oundcore Motion+ might not look remarkable, but what it can accomplish will take your breath away. It’s a wise investment for anyone looking for powerful sound at an affordable price. But don’t expect it to compete with some of the larger devices on the market.
